Class of 1957 50-Year Reunion (posted 10/11/2007) Back to Reunions page
The class of '57 had a wonderful time this past weekend (Sept. 14-16) attending their Golden Anniversary 50th Reunion. It was held at the Remada Inn with much visiting, sharing and enjoying each other's company. There was a total of about 50 folks who attended for meals and there were 24 class members who came. On Thurs. we went to the McDonald Observatory and to the Ft. Davis Nat'l. Monument, Friday included registration, a tour to the Winery at Marfa and bar-b-q supper that evening. Sat. morning was a tour of Alpine for the fleet of foot and then an assembly in the old High School auditorium where we shared memory stories and remembered those who had passed away. The Mayor Micky Clouse welcomed us, along with Mr. Davis supt. of Alpine Public Schools. A Mexican supper was held in the evening and on Sun. morning we shared a light brunch at the pavilion of the Remada Inn. Classmates visited all their favorite places in Alpine and the surrounding area and had great time together. Pictures have been sent through Pictures for Alpine High School website.
