Ladies and Gentlemen:
Hard to believe, but it has been over 20 years since those Friday nights when we donned those purple and gold uniforms and polished our white shoes. They were the best of times; they were the worst of times, but times well remembered. Mr. Shipp led us through those nights with ease and grace and held the same during those hours of marching band practice on that half-asphalt parking lot. We were the biggest thing to happen on those Friday nights. We all know what the crowds came to see – and it had nothing to do with contact sports.
Now it’s time to celebrate the “Mr. Shipp Era” with a party in his honor. I hope you will join us and the rest of your fellow band-mates when we get together for one more Friday night. We have a full evening planned for Friday, July 5th, 2002, in Alpine at the Civic Center (the old Chute #1) starting at 7:00 pm. The cost of the celebration is $20 per person and tickets can be purchased by filling out and returning the reunion registration form. Please make checks payable to Alpine Fighting Buck Band. If you are unable to attend or simply want the party to really kick-ass, donations are welcomed.
This is an open invitation to all friends of the Alpine Fighting Buck Band. So if you would like to purchase tickets for others who would like to attend, you may do that at this time. The Civic Center private party regulations ban ticket sales at the door.

We Need Your Help
We are still in the process of locating band
members. If you have the name and
address of any band members, please include this information on the reunion
registration form and return or submit this information via the
band survey.
Mark your calendars for July 5th. You may want to make a long weekend of it and join in Alpine’s 4th of July celebration on Thursday with activities at the park that afternoon and parade that evening.
