20 Year Reunion

Ok folks we're running out of time!! There are less than 15 people who have registered and sent in their fees for the reunion. It's imperative if you plan on attending that you register and send in your fees very, very soon. We'd like to get everyone registered no later than June 15, 2003. Another registration form is attached if you have misplaced the last one. If you visit the AHS website there will also be reunion info and the registration form on there as well. We need to pay for all the expenses we have incurred soon, so if you'll take the time to do it now, it would be much appreciated. If by chance the reunion date rolls around and you have not registered, please attend any way and you can pay when you arrive. We don't want anyone who wants to attend to worry that they won't be able to because they did not register in advance. We also need to get a head count on those attending so we can get a number to the caterer and the Fierro's so we can make sure we have enough food, beer, etc. So please register today!!!

Now here is an update on the plans:

Friday, July 4th

We will be having a Meet n Greet at Joe Freddy's parents home. Joe Freddy has graciously offered his parents home at 1006 N. Seventh (corner of 7th & Del Rio) to allow us to register and reacquaint with one another. There will be snacks provided compliments of the Fierro's. Joe Freddy will be providing a keg and so will Greg & Imelda, but you are all welcomed to BYOB and bring your own drinks for the kids. This is a very informal get together so come to relax and have fun. The fun should start about 6:00 p.m. and we may all go the Blue's later or we may just hang out at the Fierro's.

Saturday, July 5th

BBQ at Kokernot park beginning at 11:30 a.m. Ricky Vega will be catering and will be charging us on a per plate fee. This is another reason that it is important that you register and let us know how many people will be attending from your families. We were unable to coordinate with Rusty Ross regarding a class picture so be sure to bring your own cameras so that you'll have some photographs to take back with you. We will be planting a tree at the AHS campus in memory of Estella Cadena, Bobby DeLaO, and Larry Carpenter around 2:00 p.m. We have asked Bob Ward to donate the tree and plaque for this occasion. He has not agreed as of yet but we are hoping that he will. Work on him Debbie!!

We will be having a dance and short ceremony at the American Legion that will begin about 7:30 p.m. The dance will be DJ'd by Laurence Neu and will begin around 9:00 p.m. The American Legion will sell beer there and you will also be allowed to bring your own set ups and bottles. Don't forget your cameras!!

Sunday, July 6th

We are hoping to all meet at the same restaurant for either breakfast or brunch so that we can say our goodbyes. If anyone has any suggestions on where to meet let one of us know so that we can call ahead for a room or something where we can all sit together.

There are still some people that we have been unable to get either email addresses or mailing addresses for. If you are in contact with any of these people please forward this to them or email Imelda Thomas with the address so she can send out an information letter to them.
