Possible Class Reunion for 1960 Graduates (posted 02/25/00)
I met with some of my old classmates (Charles Tuck and his wife Barbara, Gene Turner, and Eddie Bass) and we talked about how much fun it would be fun to try and plan a class reunion. We are trying to gather addresses and information concerning the whereabouts of old classmates. We are thinking that a class reunion in the Fall 2000 would be nice. We would appreciate any input anyone has in helping us find these classmates - Graduates of 1960 (Yikes, has it been that many years ago??) If anyone is checking out this website, please post your name and address so that we may contact you in the near future concerning a reunion .
Thank you, Connie Burling Springfield

Class of 1965 (posted 04/18/00)
Although
we don't have a class reunion planned for this year, I know there will be quite
a few of us in Alpine over the 4th of July weekend. I have talked to Sue
(Bradford) Anthony and Palmer (Coats) Byerley and they are as interested as I am in planning some kind of get-together with other classmates.
If you are going to be in Alpine that weekend and/or know of others who will be
there, but are not registered, let me know. Hope to see you then so we can
have a BLAST (pun intended) that weekend!

Class of 1970 (posted 06/28/00)
The 1970 class reunion will be held on Saturday, July 1 at 4:00pm at the Sunday House Pool Area. This will be a very casual get together. Chips, dip, etc. will be served - all classmates will be responsible for their family's beverage. Adults and children are welcome to swim. We know there are lots of activities associated with the 4th going on this week-end, but hope all classmates will stop by at least to say "HI" and sign the guest book!! We're looking forward to visiting and catching up on 30 years worth of life!!

Class of 1981 Reunion Recap (posted 07/15/01)
The Alpine High School Class of 1981 had their 20 year reunion on June 29th and 30. There was an incredible turn-out with over 70% of the class attending. Activities were scheduled throughout the weekend including a DJ Friday night at the Crystal Bar during registration; a tour of the high school following pictures in the park Saturday afternoon; a climb up A Mountain, and a dance Saturday night at the Civic Center. A memorable time was had by all. Plans are already in the making for our 25th reunion.

10 Year Reunion Recap
Photo by Caneel Cardwell, courtesy of the Alpine
Observer.
Our 10 year reunion was a great success! We met at Railroad Blues on Friday
night, June 30. Everyone looked great and really enjoyed themselves. A packed house listened to Two Tons of Steel and had a chance to catch up with classmates and with many others who were also there. Afterwards we continued our party at Hunter Ross' beautiful house across from the old Jr. High.
On Saturday, July 1st, we met at Kokernot Lodge for a wonderful barbecue catered by Ricky Vega. The kids enjoyed the jumping balloon and the visit from Belvedeer. We took a class photo that came out in the July 6 edition of the Alpine Observer.
Several awards were presented and prizes given that were donated by local businesses. Married longest went to Christy Portillo Muniz(10 years this fall). Married most recently went to Rebecca Smith Haden (June 2). Oldest child was Tiffany Sublett(10 years old), daughter of Brett Beinhauer Sublett. Youngest child was Ryan Tudyk (June 2), son of Renee Cook Tudyk. Traveled the longest distance by plane was Charlie Donet from Florida and by car was Lance Sleeper from Colorado. Most changed was Jon Andretta Mitchell and least changed was J.J. Martin.
Finally at the barbecue we went inside the lodge and watched our 8th grade talent show and swimming party at Justin Haynes' house on video. Jae Brooks Sublett provided the videos. Then we headed over to Alpine High School for a tour. Everything looked pretty much the same except that Mrs. Powell, Coach Valenzuela, and Mrs. McAllister's rooms are no longer rooms. On Saturday night everyone did their own thing in and around Alpine.
On Sunday morning, July 2nd, we went to Twin Peaks Restaurant for a breakfast
buffet. It was very good. Many people had already left to either catch planes or get an early start to a long drive home.
It was a great weekend.
